HF Remote – BCI Filter Added

On 10/01/24, Dave L fitted a high pass filter to the IC-706 remote, HF antenna line. The IC-706 has historically suffered from serious crossmod – believed to be substantially caused by an AM broadcast station. The filter significantly attenuated frequencies below 80m, resulting in (what appears to be) substantially clearer reception on HF. Previously, it was often necessary to engage the 20db attenuator to improve reception – this is no longer the case.
