Definitely an inside type of day with the weather capable of blowing a dog off a chain. It was a good time to have a tidy up. With many years accumulation of “could be handy for something, sometime” type items, it was time to move some on. The sick bay has become a repository for items that were never destined to recover, and the office next door had become an overflow for the sick bay. The garage is going to be demolished soon and anything we don’t want from inside, will be headed for a 9 meter bin, that is due to arrive in a few weeks. So it makes sense to maximise use of the recycling pickup while available.

We are being quite ruthless and the disposal pile is growing. Any members who want to pick over the pile or garage contents, need to do so quick! You never know, you might just find that item that “could be handy for something, sometime”. Sorting will continue for the next couple of weeks.

The main battery banks for the building have, for some time, only had an output owing to the charger float voltage. We are looking to deliver the batteries to the recyclers, and obtain some new ones. Stay tuned! Our resilience against a mains outage can only improve!
