Quite a large turnout today – 12 persons all up. Following the 5775 repeater lockup earlier in the week, we migrated the power supply to battery, to hopefully eliminate the power glitch that caused the latchup. Simon and Harry looked further into the TX/RX filter arrangement for the repeater and squeezed out a little less loss. Dave L worked on getting an RS-232 over ethernet converter working to enable a remote connection to the repeater. After bricking it with an attempted firmware update, coffee time was declared. The device was subsequently unbricked and upgraded at home, so installation will be on another day. Rob worked on a 2M rig, preparing it for sale. We had a visit from Dale, KQ4FNU, from Lexington Kentucky. Maurice and Dale tried contacting some of Dales friends back home.
